Great explanation and very interesting
If you place the "tail plane" (horizontal stabiliser) ahead of the main lifting wing, the way the Wright Brothers did, the way many modern combat aircraft do, the way Bert Rutan did, then most of this is unnecessary. It is very clever, I have great regard for the people who worked this out, but the dynamics of tail dragger aircraft were worked out in about 1910 ~ 1914. At that time, with rotary radial engines and stick & string biplanes, there were several good reasons to go to tractor propeller at the front and small horizontal stab at the back, but most of those reasons stop being valid once you're talking about a jet aircraft more than 40 ft long, going more than 150 mph. The first working aeroplane, the Wright Brothers Flyer, worked this way.
if the right engine is also producing power then the right bus will be getting power from the IDG mounted on right engine instead from APU. am i correct?
Yes!
thankyou for the nice vedio , Can I ask about the music , so nice montage ❤

Fantastic video and graphics!!
Hello . I have a strong interest in learning more about jet engines and airplanes. can you help me? I want to know more. How to design and build an airplane and airplane engine. Is there a resource to see the tutorial?
Can I switch off the apu when the airplane is in sky
Please help me with the companies parts of Airplanes
Actually im creating an small aircraft This channel helps me
not very sure if your channel is all just about skibidi
why don't airliners use canards instead to not have this problem? Is it anything more than it would be harder to park them at airport gates?
A question: the RAT deploys when all 5 gennys fail, all hydraulic pumps fail or there is loss of hydraulic PSI due to a leak. How will the RAT help hydraulic PSI if there is none to pump? Like when the DC10 in Iowa lost all its fluid due to an engine explosion, or the DC10 that lost its engine on take off from ohare??
Amazing video! This is probably the best explained breakdown I’ve seen and I’ve been in the APU industry 15 years. I’ll just point people here next time someone asks me what they do! 😂 I have some questions regarding use of the video for a new project I’m working on. Do you have an email or another way of contacting you?
Feel free to use the video for educational projects.
@@AircraftScience Is there anyway you can upload the full 3 part series somewhere for me to download a high res version? RUclips only allows me to download 720p. I'd like to splice some segments you've created into another video I'm making. You're channel will of course be credited :)

Please, publish the video of the 737 MAX.
He said 83,000 kilogram fuel vapacity for centrr tank. A quick calculation indicates the following: 83,000kg × 2.2 lbs = 182,600 lbs. Divide product by 8.6 lbs [a gallon of milk] the quotient us over 21,000 gallons in the center tank. I'm no engineer, but i don't think that's possible.
I will be starting to make these in Honeywell in a few weeks!! So excited!
When the engine lights 💦💦💦
My dad was a dc-9 captain, and I can always remember long wide open schematics on the dining room table of the engine that he would always study.
Marvilloso video....
IDG video please!
I question the case ALL 5 GENERATORS FAIL (APU+4 Engine generators). The APU is not normally able to prevent RAT deploy if it is OFF. If the 4 main engine generators fail or are turned off intentionally (MH370 possible case) APU will automatically come on, but it takes about 60-secs to fire up. Thus RAT could deploy if only the 4 engine generators fail. MH370 case (possible deliberate diversion) brings up a lot of complex questions of unorthodox ("intentional") failures.
Fantastic job, thanks, really appreciated, looking forward to the next part 👍👏👏
More to come!
The background music makes me feel like a plane crash is about to happen 😂
Ive been reading chapter 49. But this one gives me clearer explanation. Magnificent!!
Thank you for your hard work. Please keep making this quality stuff. I find it very helpful as I myself am a b777 aircraft maintenance technician. I have a request. Make a video on air-conditioning system.
Thanks, will do!
非常好视频,爱来自中国
Thanks as always, brotha! The beauty and simplicity of the APU... Is amazing and critical for most uses in the B777. Or even in other aircraft types. Because most of them uses a single brand or an alternate brand. Haha. Again! Amazing videos and an inspiration to the engineers and technicians out there!!!
Couldn't agree more!
Wow
i dont have any formal training in aeronautical eng. But i can make a safe guess, no professor is gonna give such an elaborate understandable explanation.
These are SO GOOD.
Excellent job❤
Awesome ❤
bro dont do parts. pls make a long video the posting sequence is very late i forgot what was the part two and 1
Excellent Explanation good service to Humanity very nice job
1st view
Very dark. Nothing visible.
Nice document but music not convenant..
Man never thought jet engines is this much complex. Maintenance and check up of these engines must be fascinating to see.
This is so helpso helpful for me Tysm!
What lousy narration!
it's good job, wonderful,brilliant
How is gas burned in jet engine?
Man literally the amount of hardwork you've put into making of this video is amazing. Definitely worth of Millions of views. Thank you very much! Keep providing the best content.
My pleasure!
Outstanding job! You guys are mesmerizing!
Thank you!
That s a lot of words to say "the eec compensates for atmospheric conditions by adjusting the rpm... "
Thank you ❤❤❤
Very nicely explained ❤
is part 3 being prepared or is there anywhere else where I can rent it or watch it?
I'm working on it.
Landing gear pls
The next series will be on landing gear.
@@AircraftScience Thank you so much!
Can someone please explain how the air from the high pressure compressor is hot enough for the anti icing system ? It collected from before the combustion chamber
